Clear Cut Systems is run by Jean-Luke Pretorius in Cape Town, South Africa. This page explains, in plain language, what information I collect when you use this site or book an audit, and what I do with it. It is written to align with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What I collect
When you submit the audit form or email me, I receive the details you choose to send: your name, email address, a description of your business, and anything else you write. The site also records standard, anonymous analytics (pages visited, rough location, device type) so I can see what is useful.
Why I collect it
- To reply to you and run your free audit.
- To prepare and deliver work if we go ahead.
- To understand which parts of the site are worth keeping.
I do not sell your information, and I do not send marketing you did not ask for.
Where it lives
Audit submissions are stored securely and emailed to me. The site runs on Vercel, email is sent through Resend, and any AI assistance uses the Anthropic API. Each of these processes data on my behalf under their own security terms.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email jeanluke@clearcutsystems.com and I will action it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
