These terms cover your use of the Clear Cut Systems website and the free audit. Clear Cut Systems is run by Jean-Luke Pretorius, Cape Town, South Africa. Booking an audit or talking to me does not, on its own, create any obligation beyond what we agree in writing.

The free audit

The 20-minute audit is free and carries no obligation. It is an honest read of where your operation may be losing time and money. Any figures I give in an audit are estimates, framed as such, not guarantees.

How work is agreed

If we decide to build something, the scope, the measurable target, and the fee are set out in writing before any build begins. I charge a monthly retainer based on the value the system creates, not fixed packages or hourly rates. Nothing on this website is a binding quote.

What you can expect

• You deal directly with me, the person doing the build.
• You see the work running on your real data early, not only at the end.
• If a system does not hit the target we agreed, we adjust it before you pay more.

Your responsibilities

To build something useful I need honest access to how your operation runs and timely answers when I ask. You keep ownership of your accounts and data.

Payment, when there is work

Terms for any paid engagement are set in our written agreement. Invoices are in ZAR unless we agree otherwise. The free audit is never invoiced.

Liability

The site and its content are provided as is, for information. I make no warranty that figures, estimates, or external links are complete or error free. To the extent the law allows, liability for any paid work is limited to what is set out in our written agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
